"MACHO DAD" "Macho Dad", a new children's book about losing a father, by Hector Camacho Jr. and Dustin Warburton with illustrations by Dan Monroe, has been written in remembrance of Hector's father, legendary fighter Hector "Macho" Camacho, reports Caribbean News Now (Feb. 21, 2015). This book celebrates the life and considerable achievements of the "Macho Man" and made its debut in Puerto Rico on February 26. Known for his flamboyant personality and incredible hand speed, "Macho" overcame a troubled childhood in New York's Spanish Harlem and went on to become both a lightweight and junior lightweight world champion. He was killed in a shooting on November 20, 2012, while in Puerto Rico.
