Michael T. Alcox (District of Columbia Chapter) was appointed as the new CFO and VP of Fairchild Corp. He replaces the resigning Colin M. Cohen (Central Virginia Chapter).

G. Thomas Baker was named CFO of International Game Technology.

John Clerico (Connecticut/Westchester Chapter) left his post at Praxair Inc. to become CEO of Internet portal MetFabCity. James Sawyer (Connecticut/Westchester Chapter) was named VP and CFO of Praxair on a permanent basis after serving as interim CFO since March.

Gregg R. Denny was named CFO at Oneida Ltd. after serving previously as the VP of marketing.

Kenneth A. Goldman (Santa Clara Chapter) retired from his post at Excite@Home. Mark A. McEachen (San Francisco Chapter) was named EVP and CFO.

Thomas M. Hagerty succeeds James S. Adams (Indianapolis Chapter) as CFO at Conseco Inc. Adams retains his positions as SVP, CAO, and treasurer.

Thomas W. Hanlon (Orange County Chapter) was named CFO of Strouds, Inc.

PanAmSat Corp. CFO Kenneth Heintz (Connecticut/Westchester Chapter) is being replaced by Michael Inglese. Heintz is to become head of M & A activities at Hughes Electronic Group, PanAmSat's parent.

Richard C. Hobbs replaces the retiring Michael Fung as CFO at Universal Foods Corp. (Milwaukee Chapter).

Lawrence E. Hyatt leaves his chief financial spot at Marriot Corp.'s Host Marriot Services to become CFO of PSINet Inc.

Peter Kellogg (Dallas Chapter) was named CFO and VP of finance of Biogen, Inc.

Terry Krueger (Dallas Chapter) was named CFO at CDG & Associates, Inc.

Tom Leonard of General Electric was promoted to Director of Government and Employee Benefits on FEI's Committee on Benefits Finance.

Joan Netzel of Suntrust Banks, Inc. was promoted to Assistant Vice President/Audit Specialist within FEI's Committee on Benefits Finance.

Joel H. Newman was named the new CFO of Tommy Hilfiger Corp., and retains his previous position as CAO.

Garrett E. Pierce (Connecticut/Westchester Chapter) resigned from his CFO post at Sensormatic Electronics Corp. and was named EVP and CFO of Orbital Sciences Corp. He replaces the resigning Jeffrey Pirone (Dist. of Columbia Chapter) who will stay on as a consultant.

Michael Scarpa was promoted to CFO and VP at Liz Claiborne Inc.

Mark Shapiro was named CFO of Consolidated Stores Corp., owner of KB Toys.

Jacqueline Wagner was recently elected chair of the Institute of Internal Auditors' (IIA) Board of Directors.

David A. Young resigned as CFO of Datum, Inc. He was temporarily replaced by corporate controller Christopher Felfe.
