Save What’s Left of My Family in Gaza

In the heart of Gaza, where daily life has become a constant challenge amidst the siege and continuous bombing, we experienced unforgettable moments, filled with love and hope despite the pain. This is my story, and the story of my family, which may not differ from hundreds of other families in Gaza, but it holds special memories that will forever be etched in our minds.

Yazan, my dear nephew, was always a symbol of courage and joy in our family. Since childhood, he loved to wear his elegant blue suit, always made sure his hair was neatly styled, and smiled at the world as if to tell us that tomorrow would be better. On the day of a family member’s wedding, Yazan stood proudly beside us, radiating happiness, sharing his smiles with everyone, as if he knew that these moments would be among the last memories we would have of him. Just a few days later, in a merciless airstrike, we lost Yazan. He left us while dreaming of a tomorrow filled with peace and joy, leaving behind a void and indescribable pain.

As for Suheir, my beloved niece, she is the sun that rises in our lives every day. Suheir is still with us, full of life and hope, dreaming of wearing her white dress on her special day and living a life filled with joy and success. Despite the harsh circumstances, Suheir carries the spirit of childhood and is the source of hope that we cling to amidst all this pain. Every time I see her, I feel that life still offers us a chance to witness its beauty and happiness.

We lost Yazan, but we thank God that Suheir is still with us. She is a symbol of hope and resilience. Although life has become more difficult and harsh, I believe there is always light at the end of the tunnel. We have endured these bitter experiences together as a family, but we still carry in our hearts a passion for life, seeking safety and the opportunities that can grant us a new beginning.

For this reason, I have launched a fundraising campaign to help my family escape this harsh reality. My goal is to secure a better future for those of us who remain, especially the children who deserve to live their lives without fear of bombings and airstrikes. All I ask for is a chance to give them a future filled with peace and opportunities, far from wars and destruction.

With hope and faith, I ask everyone who reads these words to contribute to our cause. Together, we can build a better future for our children, keep Yazan’s memory alive as a symbol of courage and hope, and continue to support Suheir so that she can live the life she dreams of, filled with safety and happiness.

Sorry for mention you

€844 raised of €60,000 target as of Sept 12. 7 hours since the last donation!!!

‏Today's vetted fundraisers

I am Huda from Gaza. On October 14, 2023, our home was bombed, killing my 17-year-old sister, 8-year-old nephew, and 19-year-old cousin. My father was seriously injured and needs surgery, while my mother, siblings, and I were also wounded.

Our four-story home, which included two apartments and a supermarket—our only source of income—was completely destroyed. We've since been displaced, constantly at risk from bombings and shelling. My sister's chronic illness has worsened due to her child's death and a lack of medication.

Now surrounded by Israeli tanks, we face extreme shortages of food, water, and electricity. Contaminated conditions have left me with hepatitis, and we’re struggling with illness and malnutrition. The situation is unbearable, and I’ve lost hope.

We desperately seek your help and donations to survive and to find a way out of Gaza to safety. Your support can make a difference in our lives during this crisis.

Urgent Assistance Needed for Leaving Gaza 🍉

I have lost dear loved ones in my life, leaving me with a deep and enduring pain. Over time, life has become even more difficult due to the harsh circumstances we are enduring. The lack of food and water, the absence of medical care, and the spread of diseases all make life seem devoid of meaning.

Despite my numerous attempts to overcome this pain and return to a semblance of normal life, I find myself constantly trapped in the memories of those painful moments. Every day feels like a rehash of those losses, making life seem tasteless and hopeless.

Due to the war, obtaining water and food has become a daily struggle. After our home was bombed, we had to move to an overcrowded area where water barely reaches us. We stand in long lines under the scorching sun to fill a few bottles, and food has become extremely scarce. When we do manage to get enough food, we have to cook over an open fire due to the lack of gas and electricity.

Not only that, but we are also facing a severe shortage of medicines, and hospitals are overwhelmed with patients, making it almost impossible to receive treatment. The proliferation of insects in the area adds another layer of hardship to our lives.

Despite all this pain and devastation, I continue to fight to keep my remaining family together. In this destruction we live in, I try to find a glimmer of hope, no matter how small, so that I can keep going.

We need your support to help us through this crisis. Your donations can provide us with the food, water, and medicines we need to survive. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in our lives.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and generosity during these difficult times.

Hello my friends

I am Huda from Gaza🇵🇸🍉

Since the war began on October 7, 2023, my family and I have faced severe hardship. On October 14, our home was bombed, resulting in the death of my 17-year-old sister, my 8-year-old nephew, and my 19-year-old cousin. My father was seriously injured and needs surgery outside Gaza. We have also suffered injuries.😭💔

Our four-story home, worth $30,000 per apartment, was completely destroyed, along with our supermarket ($20,000) and our car ($30,000). We have been displaced to a dangerous area near the sea with no resources. We are living under constant threat from bombings and artillery, with severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.😔

We urgently need financial support and are seeking opportunities to leave Gaza for safety. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.🙏🏻

Huda and Her Family's Story: Struggling Under Bombardment and a Call for Help

Huda and her family from Gaza have endured a devastating ordeal since the war began on October 7, 2023. In the midst of this chaos, they have faced unimaginable hardship.

On October 14, their home was bombed, resulting in the tragic loss of three beloved family members: Huda's 17-year-old sister, her 8-year-old nephew, and her 19-year-old cousin. Huda’s father was seriously injured and requires urgent surgery outside Gaza, and other family members were also injured.

This nightmare not only involved the loss of loved ones but also the destruction of their home, supermarket, and car. Following this devastation, they have been displaced to a dangerous area near the sea, lacking essential resources. They live daily under the threat of bombings and artillery, with severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.

Today, Huda and her family urgently need our support to help them leave Gaza and find safety. We are calling on you to participate in a fundraising campaign to provide them with the resources necessary to escape Gaza. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the lives of this family who has lost everything.

Let us come together to assist Huda and her family in securing the hope and resources they need for safety. Donate today and be a part of this humanitarian story.
