Living in the tents is really difficult, so hot. They are getting sunstroke and headaches all the time. They don't have fans or electricity to cool down, making the heat unbearable. Taking a shower is difficult , as there's hardly any clean water to drink . Bugs carrying diseases are everywhere, because our tent is located in a semi-desert area devoid of everything, and destruction surrounds us from every direction. I was getting suspicions but now I'm very 100% sure that most of this website's userbase hates Palestinians and not passively. I'm now fully 100% comprehending that the vast majority of this website's userbase passes by any mention of Palestinians and seethes to their core and the only reason little of it came out was because you thought there might be social repercussions for attacking Palestinians in our time of need. All it took was an easily debunkable false accusation to get people to attack people undergoing genocide as well as a genocide survivor, and now he's been stopped from doing the work he has spent months doing. I will not allow this experience to go undocumented or forgotten. Those who partook in the harassment know what they've done and the unspeakable repurcussions of it. I expected this honestly, because that is exactly what happened to BLM and other Black rights activists since 2014; a cycle of unbelievable praise before horrendous abuse and harassment once they stopped being deified. I also saw the way people treated Moataz Azaiza after he evacuated Ghazzah, and expected the same to happen to Ahmed, who also survived unspeakable things for months in an accelerated genocide, and got harassed and attacked by the THOUSANDS on tumblr after this harassment campaign was put out. I will not forgive any one involved, especially not for what they've done to Ahmed.

As you know, we are now in Gaza in a war. I had many ideas before creating my campaign, but I saw them as the only solution to raise money. I have a family of 7 members, and I try to help them by collecting money to get out of the war and live a little safer! Kind of important post?

There's this cracker that's apparently really hellbent on accusing most Palestinian gofundmes of being scams, especially the ones verified on my and nabulsi's list, while also shading me implying I expect people to believe me wholeheartedly, which I've made several posts about the contrary. I ask every one of you to exercise critical thinking, and my list is a tool for that critical thinking, not a replacement for it. We have also always made it clear we are not infallible. This is a lot of work for 2 people to do and sometimes miscommunication or misunderstandings happen, which I admit did happen when we discussed Basel Ayyad's blog being suspicious! But this person's accusations go far beyond making mistakes.

You almost absolutely cannot set your fundraiser location to 'Gaza', it's very rare and only happens in instances where the Ghazzan in question has some kind of U.S. bank account based in Ghazzah for some reasons like being an exchange student or something like that. Shahed, the girl whose fundraiser is being mocked below, was verified by my friend nabulsi by verifying her national ID and photographic proof of current presence in Ghazzah, which was cross verified with her personal Instagram having a presence in Ghazzah long before Oct 7, 2023. Nearly every Palestinian in Ghazzah that has a legitimate fundraiser needs a beneficiary external to Ghazzah because GFM doesn't operate there, and everyone except this racist piece of shit understands that. Oftentimes, the fundraiser holders are diaspora Palestinians themselves, hence Arab names located in Europe or the U.S. or Canada. I've verified fundraisers for 2 Palestinian families that were being held by the same American individual, because people who do this are few and far in between and the people who do it end up being referred to from one Ghazzan to another. This is something I discussed with my friend Mohammed El Shaer as well, who has a fundraiser for his family organized by a woman whose name I saw under another fundraiser I helped verify.

In the end, I agree with this person on one thing. Do what you want with your money. But we are taking the effort to help you figure out where you can send it, what your options are, and they are a more direct means to help the people who need it. That doesn't mean you're under obligation to.

There's also a difference between, scrutiny, criticism, and outright defamation and baseless accusations - which is what this person's actions has encouraged their followers to put out.

Apparently they believe Ashraf and Heba Alanqar are the same person, you know, a man and a woman, located in two different cities. Your racism is making you ignorant enough to think you know more than Palestinians do about our own conditions and the conditions of the people we speak to in Arabic it seems.

My name is Issam Aziz, and I am 26 years old, living in the Netherlands. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my sick and elderly mother, Haifa Aziz, who is 59 years old and suffering from diabetes. Our lives have been turned upside down since the devastating events that began in Gaza.

We tragically lost my father on September 17th, before the October 7th escalation. He was a double amputee and struggled immensely. With our home destroyed in northern Gaza, my mother was left with no choice but to move to a refugee camp in Rafah. However, Rafah is no longer the safe haven it once was; we have witnessed the targeting of refugees in their tents.

My mother, Haifa, is enduring unimaginable hardships. With the collapse of the healthcare system in Gaza, she cannot access her necessary medications, exacerbating her already severe condition. The thought of her suffering without the essential care she needs is unbearable.

We urgently need to evacuate her to Egypt through the Rafah border crossing. However, this comes at a steep cost of $6,000, a sum that is beyond my means. I am reaching out to you, hoping for your compassion and generosity to help us raise the funds needed to save my mother’s life.

I always think of our home, which we left nine months ago. How sad he is without us. He became accustomed to us as we became accustomed to him. He witnessed our joys and sorrows, witnessed all the stages of our lives.

I felt as if my house were alive! For I believe that homes have souls just like us. Since we had to flee from our home, he has become alone. He does not hear our voices. He does not hear the sound of my key when I return from work late in the evening. He does not hear the voice of my wife while she works in her kitchen. He does not hear the soft snores of my children while they are asleep. He does not hear them play, the sound of our usual laughter is missing. He does not even hear our loud voices when we fight!

Now he is a pile of stones, and all he hears is the annoying noise of aircraft and continuous bombing. I always wonder about his condition. Does he miss us as much as we miss him? His loneliness hurts me, as does our distance from him...

Though I have my hope! As I progress in my campaign, I feel that I am getting closer to rebuilding my home and returning to him. I often imagine that we have returned home and saying "We have finally come back to our home! " He will once again be home to us, because I believe homes only die if their residents are absent! I don't want our house to die... Please help me return to him.

Amal was studying for her Master's degree when the bombardment started, and had to flee her home with her husband, and her one year old girl Maryam.

Since January, the three of them have been living in a tent in Rafah. Even after constant displacement, and the unlivable conditions they've been forced to endure, they've been ordered to evacuate once again. With nowhere to go, Amal and her beautiful family are trapped. They need OUR help to save them. They are unable to cross the border without the required funds, and donations to their campaign have been stagnating!

As of now, Amal's campaign hasn't reached even 25% of it goal, and time is of the essence. Please, please, I urge you to donate if you have anything at all to spare, and to share this as much as you can, because these wonderful parents and this precious baby are counting on us.
