Not much due to the warm weather but Luc and Sammy did so well.

It is so much fun to watch them.

- hurdle

- hurdle (out)

- tunnel

- hurdle

We tried two different ways (hard to describe, I hope it is understandable, I am sorry).

1. Was that Sammy took the second hurdle (out) at the right side, jumping to Luc, into the tunnel.

2. Was that Luc called Sammy over the first hurdle to him, pushed him into an "out" at the second hurdle and told Sammy to walk away at the other side into the tunnel.

Lucs and Sammys second class 3 parcour in RallyO (highest class in germany).

They did SO WELL.

Even it rained and I walked near them Sammy focused well on Luc - they worked so amazing together.

It was Lucs second class 3 parcour and he did so good with the signs.

We corrected a couple of mistakes at the end but just: wow.

I am so proud of them ❤️.

Two full days are behind uns - much work but we had lot of fun.

Friday:

Baking cakes and cooking soup at early morning for our rally-obedience competition at the dog club.

At midday to the dog club, cleaning, decorating (it was st. Martin themend) and building up the competition field.

Saturday:

Since it was a competition at our dog club and I am the Obfrau (person who is not only trainer but resposible at events etc. for this dog sport too) it was hard but fun.

It was a long and hard day but so so so super good.

I walked with Sammy in class 3 and we got 78/100 points - I did two big mistakes but Sammy was so super good.

My mom walked with Fox in senior class and got 99/100 points - I cried so much because I am so happy for them.

I train Pino and told my mother (it is her dog but I train him) she is ready to walk his first beginner class with him and they did so well - my mother did some mistakes but they did so super well 75/100 points.

And Luc walked with Sammy his first rally-obedience competition AND THEY GOT THIRD PLACE.

They did so super well together, 91/100 points.

All in all I am just so so so super proud of everyone, I am really happy ❤️.

(Luc is totally okay that I show this picture, he is so proud too - I surely asked.)

Luc and Raven passed their BH!

I am happy, I am so so so super happy and proud of them.

They did so super well.

They learned so much in such a short time they are together.

Watching them grow, overcoming everything together.

They learn together.

And beside my happy feelings, Luc is relieved, happy and proud too which is the most important.

He was so scared, so anxious and cried much befor the exam/competition (many reasons, one of then is that he got forced to compete - long story).

But they did it, they rocked ❤️.

The BH for Luc and Sammy is over and it's: not passed.

And this is okay.

I'm not mad, I'm not disappointed, or anything else because there's absolutely no reason to be.

The two worked together as a team in training, with time, patience.

The two gave everything, they rocked.

It doesn't take a "pass" to be proud.

They have fun together, it's fun to watch them grow together and that counts.

The very first competition for them, nervousness, gaining experience. Nervousness in particular can influence so much and often falsifies what the team is actually really capable of.

In my eyes they did well.

The only bad thing was the judge.

I understand why they did not pass - the long down stay was the problem. Sammy stood up, searched me and did not listend to Lucs recall what never happend befor. You can call 3 times and when the dog will not listen the competition is over.

But he was rude to every team at the competition, everyone there was "panicking" when it was their turn, someone even wanted to not walk anymore.

He told Luc and his brother (who also had the BH this day) they will never manage a competition and why they even tried it.

Being honest is okay but in a kinder way, the boys where really hurt.

They are kids who had their first exam, they were stressed and super nervous.

Luc tried after everything was done and he was not so nervous anymore to show the judge what he and Sammy can do but the judge did not looked his way even a few people told him to look at them.

It was not about to change the judges mind but he wanted him to see that they can do it.

Luc and his brother tried so hard.

Luc is different since this day with Sammy.

It feels like his motivation is away.

And it feels like it is my fault.

Luc and Sammy have their BH in April (23.04) and he askes me if Sammy can bark at him in a blind.

We had a super long break from IGP but Sammy did well, good little boy.

Just need to watch to calm him down while heelwork.

He is normally super calm but is super barky as soon as he sees the blinds and the decoy/IGP helper.

My commands where to slow my moves not clear, we will work on it ☺️.

It was super much fun for the three of us!

Two day left until Sammy and Luc walk their BH and I am nervous, super nervous!
