The BH for Luc and Sammy is over and it's: not passed.
I'm not mad, I'm not disappointed, or anything else because there's absolutely no reason to be.
The two worked together as a team in training, with time, patience.
The two gave everything, they rocked.
It doesn't take a "pass" to be proud.
They have fun together, it's fun to watch them grow together and that counts.
The very first competition for them, nervousness, gaining experience. Nervousness in particular can influence so much and often falsifies what the team is actually really capable of.
In my eyes they did well.
The only bad thing was the judge.
I understand why they did not pass - the long down stay was the problem. Sammy stood up, searched me and did not listend to Lucs recall what never happend befor. You can call 3 times and when the dog will not listen the competition is over.
But he was rude to every team at the competition, everyone there was "panicking" when it was their turn, someone even wanted to not walk anymore.
He told Luc and his brother (who also had the BH this day) they will never manage a competition and why they even tried it.
Being honest is okay but in a kinder way, the boys where really hurt.
They are kids who had their first exam, they were stressed and super nervous.
Luc tried after everything was done and he was not so nervous anymore to show the judge what he and Sammy can do but the judge did not looked his way even a few people told him to look at them.
It was not about to change the judges mind but he wanted him to see that they can do it.
Luc and his brother tried so hard.
Luc is different since this day with Sammy.
It feels like his motivation is away.
And it feels like it is my fault.
