With the 2024 general election and the upcoming Euros football tournament, there have been some changes to the TV schedules. The One Show will not air on Thursday, June 13.

The One Show was moved to BBC Two on Wednesday, which Jermaine Jenas announced at the end of Tuesday's show. Now the BBC flagship show has been removed from schedules completely on Thursday, June 13. Want less ads? Download WalesOnline’s Premium app on Apple or Android.

Normally airing at 7pm on BBC One every weeknight, the channel will instead be airing an extended BBC News from 6pm ahead of EastEnders at 7.30pm. From 8pm will be Question Time as Fiona Bruce presents an hour of peak-time topical debate from Edinburgh.

On the panel are the Scottish National Party's Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes MSP, the Leader of the Conservatives in Scotland Douglas Ross MSP, the Leader of Scottish Labour Anas Sarwar MSP, the chief strategist behind the 2014 campaign for Scottish independence Stephen Noon and the former UK Government adviser Iain Anderson. This is not the only schedule change viewers should look out for as ITV flagship soap Coronation Street has been removed from ITV1 for a week, which you can read more about here.

Recently on The One Show actor Jason Donovan gave an update about his family life. Chatting to hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas the star, who is known for shooting to fame in the Australian soap Neighbours, gave an update on his missing cat. His cat Pixie went missing months ago and while Jason and his family held out "hope" that Pixie would return it seemed unlikely. Pixie, who went missing in January 2024, was identified at a veterinary surgery and reunited with Jason and his family on Tuesday, June 11.

Speaking about the lucky reunion Jason said: "We lost Pixie in January. She was 14 years old – she just disappeared one day. It has been tough – you sort of just have to come to terms with the fact that probably something has happened."
