1) According to his keeper, the Rev. Christopher Steck, Jack visited the vet surgeon this week, and was told that the injury/tear remained, and the left thigh muscle was diminishing due to him favoring his right leg. So surgery was the answer, and the "surgery went great; no surprises. Normal vitals; groggy. No bone damage/arthritis."
