MADISON, Wis. (WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PRESS RELEASE) - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is hosting a public involvement meeting to share updates on alternatives being considered for two at-grade railroad crossings in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The meeting is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Logan High School, 1500 Ranger Dr. La Crosse, WI 54603. The project is expected to address safety concerns and changes to railroad operations at Hagar Street/Avon Street and St. Cloud Street/Liberty Street at-grade crossings. Existing conditions, safety concerns, an alternative analysis and next steps will be displayed in an open-house format.
