Biography

John Pickwick Meier was born on 19 June 1909 in Collaroy, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, the son of Alicia Gertrude Burgess Meier and John Evangelist Meier.[1][2]

He was educated at the King's School and was a member of the school's rowing team.[3] Later, he studied in the faculty of engineering at the University of Sydney.[4]

He married Isabel Wilkins in December 1943 at St Alban's Church in Leura, New South Wales.[5][6] Their son is:

In 1944, John was living at 14 The Park, Parramatta, New South Wales.[8]

John died on 12 May 1972 in Parramatta.[9][10]
