A New Hampshire police department is adding a new staffer to the force.The Amherst Police Department said a Labrador retriever, who doesn't have a name yet, will work as a therapy K-9.The puppy is being adopted through GQ Labs of New England. The Nashua-based breeder said he was born on Oct. 4.The puppy is scheduled to begin his new life with the department sometime in December.
