🌱 In a step towards enhancing development and ensuring agricultural sustainability, the Nasseriyah Transformational Barrier (Weir) was established in the Hajir District of Hadhramaut Governorate.🌾 This project aims to revive agricultural lands that were severely affected by the destruction of the previous flood barrier, which led to the drying up of more than 45 hectares of palm tree plantations. Thanks to the advanced redesign of the diversion dam, a sustainable irrigation solution was provided, benefiting more than 500 farming families 👨🌾👩🌾. The dam extends across the valley, contributing to water conservation 💧 and flood control in Wadi Hajir, one of the most flood-prone valleys in the Arabian Peninsula 🌍. This project directly contributes to achieving long-term economic and social benefits by enhancing food security 🍽️ and local economic development. It ensures the sustainability of natural resources 🌿 through efficient water management, preserving agricultural activities and supporting them for future generations 👶🌾."
