One person has died in a road traffic accident in Järvenpää late on Saturday, according to Eastern Uusimaa police department.
The accident happened when the car veered off the road just before midnight on Vanha Lahdentie. Two men and two women, all aged under 20, were in the vehicle at the time.
The car did not flip onto its roof, but nevertheless ended up in a ditch when the driver lost control. The road was closed to other users for a time after the crash.
Police have started a preliminary investigation into the crash.
