Greeks protest on social media over hardline Finnish stance

Finland's opposition to a new bailout for Greece enraged Greeks on social media over the weekend. When reports of Finland's tough line emerged they resorted to poking fun at the country's mobile phones, Santa, drinking habits and climate.

As eurozone leaders gathered in Brussels for a two-day marathon wrangle over a possible new bailout for Greece, people on social media in Finland and Greece had their say. Finland has reported to be refusing to contemplate a new bailout, and the proposal that emerged on Sunday was harder than the Greeks' own draft.

As reports suggested Finland was blocking a deal on Saturday, people on social media across Europe expressed their frustration, but didn't all stick to economic arguments.
