Not a bad book, however I would say a Foldors or any other travel book on Belize has the same information. The good news, its like a bucket list, one can scan the index and pick and choose what to accomplish on their bucket list. That's also the bad news; Although Belize is not that big of a country, its terrain goes from beaches, to mountains, rivers and jungles. There is something for everybody! If you do your research on Belize, you would take many of these bucket list items and complete them if you are in a beach district or others in the Jungle District. Unless you are traveling all around the country, have time to spend, your more then likely to miss out on what you want to do on your bucket list. Travel guides would be easier to navigate. However if you want to be inspired or wondering what to actually do in Belize, you would like this book.

I was really looking forward to reading this book. I purchased the kindle version and unfortunately the format is very low quality. The print is very small and when you try to make it a little bigger it then is too big to read an entire sentence, so you have to move the page back and forth to read. The table of contents isn't linked, so you can't jump from a chosen topic in the table of contents to where that topic is in the book. Also there are no links within the kindle version to the internet. Finally, there is not a search function. So if you are trying to find out more about a particular Mayan ruin, you can't search for where it is discussed in the book. Instead, you have to scroll through every single page to get to where you want. I have downloaded many kindle tour guides and they all have table of content links, search functions and links to the internet.

I gave two stars instead of one because the premise of the book is interesting and looks like it would have provided some interesting insight to many sights and experiences that Belize has to offer. Please fix your kindle version!!
