The World’s Radio Station
I first listened to the Beeb in the Fifties on an ancient Telefunken radio. From those broadcasts, I was hooked.
The station’s in-depth news coverage and its breadth of programmes on various topics always fascinate me.
From those early vacuum-tube receivers to present day online, mobile and radio, I am amazed how simple it is now to listen to the BBC, the world’s radio station.
My sincere thanks to the BBC.
