The tense excitement of Elder Sign is now available on your mobile device! Elder Sign: Omens places you in control of up to four intrepid investigators, as they fight to keep all-powerful Ancient Ones from invading our world through a museum’s arcane exhibits!

*Build a team of unique investigators*
*Explore an ever-changing museum*
*Face challenging arcane tasks*
*Save the world from absolute destruction*
*Expand the horror with exciting in-app purchases*

Can you stand against the impending arrival of a malevolent Ancient One?

While Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience:

-A limited number of available Ancient Ones streamlines the game play experience while offering adjustable levels of difficulty. Face Yig in normal mode, Azathoth in difficult mode, or Cthulhu in very hard mode (in-app purchase required to face Cthulhu).
-A number of subtle changes increase the peril of defending humanity. For example, the random negative effects drawn every midnight are more challenging, and the frequency of “no effect” results has been decreased. Monsters have likewise been altered to make them more difficult.
-Finally, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, which further streamlines play while increasing the overall challenge.

Excellent Refined Gameplay that improves on the Original Boardgame

The music and sound effects capture te atmospheric theme of this game very well! Furthermore, the decision-making required after each conjuration(dice rolls) are very well thought out. Excellent gameplay translation from the physical boardgame :)

Those who have played the 3-10hours long version of the original boardgame with a 30-page long rulebook might wonder where is the complexity of their favourite Arkham Horror game. Fret not, do think about the excellent streamlined mechanics that these dice rolling does. E.g. Do you use the spell that you just acquired in the last location in this new adventure? Should you use all of your yellow and red glyphs to increase your chances of finding the clues to unlock this location's mystery? Or should you render your assistance to another investigator who has just failed at a location and might be going insane anytime soon as midnight is drawing near?

No flavor text massively hampers atmosphere

This app is disappointing for there's absolutely no flavor text. The actual board game is only fun because there is so much flavor from the art and text. In this app, item are small and you can't see much of what's actually the relic you are holding.

Without the chrome, this is simply a push you luck dice game. Don't get me wrong, the app and game play is solid, but it's very mechanical. I don't feel the tension of the ancient one rising as all I can see is a small icons and whether they give me an extra glypse.

That said, game play is rock solid implementation of the physical game. Recommended if u want some solo fun.

To the developers: I hope you can add in flavor text and bigger art. It can be a "tap to open" a encyopedia style. Your current GUI is great and I don't wish it to change. Just some how tell me about the monster I am facing and hat spells I am using. There's no point in having so many items if all I care is the little red and yellow dots. That's what happening right now.
