And in a twist of old and new, JusttheNews.com journalists deliver unprecedented transparency by offering a Dig Deeper tool on their Web site that allows consumers to see the underlying core materials and evidence that substantiate each story. These embeds replace the shaky promise of modern journalists to "just trust us, we're right" with "we trust readers to look at the facts and make up their own minds."
JusttheNews.com is sticking just to the facts, without regard to outcome or personal bias. We will construct original, exclusive content with a neutrality and transparency that lets readers, viewers and listeners make up their own minds.
JusttheNews.com is based in Washington, with an eye toward covering events in the capital for those who live outside it. It consists of four divisions dedicated to Web reporting, exclusive news, podcasting and long-form nonfiction book publishing.

LOVE JOHN SOLOMON but Spammy App
LOVE “ Just the News” with John Solomon on Real Americas Voice App & website !!
However we really do NOT LIKE this APP.. super spammy .. when I look at my iPhone “APP PRIVACY REPORT” under JUST THE NEWS I see a ton of Ad stuff attaching it self to my phone .. I know John Solomon and Team rightly need to make money .. but this is not good .. now we are getting into security issues with this app. // Also do NOT like the video that pops up when you first go on to JUST THE NEWS as the video has nothing to do with the actual content on that page.. .. I wrote to JUST THE NEWS a while back on their website and shared my feedback .. as I hope they can get a new site and app.. Anyway.. thanks for all your hard work John Solomon & Team .. I’m bummed I’m gonna have to delete the app ..! Hope there’s a change .. I’d love to continue to view this App on my phone — just can’t take chances with all the added AD stuff and more tracking etc.
Idea is good, ads mar the execution
UPDATE: This app is STILL horribly designed and marred by intrusive, overbearing ad design. It is virtually impossible to actually get to and read content (which is very good). I’ve virtually given up on using this app and will delete from my phone since it is unusable In it’s current state. Use as a largely ad blocking browser instead to read content without the interference of cheap, tacky ads. It’s sad. Great content that is almost impossible to read. Yes, they need revenue, but the app design promotes a horrible user experience.
The idea of Just the News is wonderful. However, the user experience is truly horrible, marred by a bombardment of ads that prevent you from reading and enjoying the stories. I’m terrified to navigate to get to an article because the pages seem to be one gigantic click-bait page. Truly horrible. I understand it’s a way to try to generate revenue. I truly do understand. On other apps/websites I’ll periodically click on an ad that interests me to help the owner/developer. But Just the News is awful. I’ll likely delete it from my phone because it’s so hard to get to the articles I’m interested in.
Needs better ad differentiation & wastes data
I respect this news organization for integrity and transparency (see the “Dig In” tab to see the sources behind the each story, to read and make up your own mind).
Although better in this version (0.2.0) than in previous ones (1.0??), it’s often difficult to tell a news story from an ad. This means that some folks may click on links thinking they are news, and will instead receive sponsored content. This is very bad for a news app, IMO.
Also, even though there are specific “Read”, “Watch” and “Listen” options at the bottom of the screen, videos ALWAYS load as pop-ups, just like on the site. If I want to watch a video of a story, I would click the “Watch” tab. This wastes data, and I was surprised by the amount of cellular data used by this app when reviewing my data usage at the end of the month.
If these two things are corrected, it would really improve the app.
