Paper Reading Habit Redefined

I have been reading The Muskegon Chronicle since I learned to read about 73 years ago. I practiced my reading skills and became a News Junky. For several years I delivered the papers and maintained my interest in current affairs which became history with the passing years. I majored in Political Science and History In college and taught those subjects in high schools for 37 years. Part of my class room curriculum involved assigning The Sunday Chronicle articles each week. For many years I prided myself in reading every word of The Chronicle. All aspects of Publishing have under gone major changes. This requires readers to adjust with the times. I miss the old Journalism with it’s blanket coverage of local news and sports. But times have mandated change. I remain a daily reader and am fond of the availability of the Digital Edition and the M-live news, sports and obituaries I can read even when traveling throughout the nation. Newspapers remain the best source for citizens to obtain factual local and regional information, advertising, funnies, opinions, personal advice and word games. I would be lost without The Muskegon Chronicle!

Great Chronicle

I have lived in Muskegon for all my life (83 years) and the Chronicle has been my go to source to keep informed.

MLive’s new reading app

This new reading app has greatly improved the experience. The old app was constantly crashing and you had to restart up to 5 or 6 times during the course of reading the paper.
