The event is an opportunity for Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), undergraduate and graduate students, and Hispanic and Latino professionals to learn about the CDC employment process, receive resume guidance, and engage with CDC leaders.

If you are a college student, recent graduate or professional ready to help make the world a healthier place, come and join us at CDC. We need you! Help us bridge the gap of Hispanics and Latinos in CDC’s workforce.

Throughout the expo, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in several career-focused opportunities including:

  • The federal application process: Resume writing tips and navigating the USAJobs application process
  • Concurrent breakout sessions: Concurrent learning sessions on science and epidemiology, global health, administration, communication, and public affairs roles
  • Fellowships and other hiring mechanisms: Overview of the CDC Steven M. Teutsch Prevention Effectiveness (PE) Fellowship, Evaluation Fellowship, and the Epidemiology Workforce Branch Fellowships.

This event is the first in a series of career events to support our commitment to bridging CDC’s workforce gaps.
