Berlin-based Wooga, a social games company with 30 million monthly players on Facebook,
has raised $24 million in funding. The second round was led by Highland Capital Partners with Tenaya Capital, Balderton Capital and HV Holtzbrinck Ventures also participating. The company has three titles in Facebook’s top 30, including Monster World, Diamond Dash and Bubble Island. It plans to hire aggressively this year increasing its employees from 85 to 150.
