Since James Brown is dead, I think someone should officially name Ryan
Seacrest the Hardest Working Man in Show Business. The host of
American Idol,
E! News, his own radio show and various red carpet telecasts, as well
as future Olympics correspondent for NBC, has landed yet another gig.
Seacrest will host FOX's upcoming 25th Anniversary Special, airing
Sunday, April 22 at 8pm.
It's a fitting job since Ryan Seacrest hoists the biggest show in the history of FOX, American Idol. The special event will be preceded by two very special FOX episodes. At 7pm, FOX will air the pilot of
Married... with Children, which was the very first program to air on FOX in prime-time on April 5, 1987. That will be followed be the 500th episode of
The Simpsons, the network's longest-running series.
The two-hour special will honor 25 years of FOX with appearances by many of the network's past and current stars. Here's a quick list of the people scheduled to attend.
