Membership in the Television Academy has privileges, and many of them. To start, members receive invitations to industry-related Academy events and seminars throughout the year, as well as a subscription to the award-winning EMMY magazine. Members are given the opportunity to join the Film Group at the current rate of $75 per year.

EMMY VOTING

Eligible members may vote in the Primetime Emmy Awards nominating process and final judging process.

EVENTS

Members are invited to attend peer group mixers, seminars and many more special events where they can learn, network and contribute.

2. "An Evening With" events featuring today's most popular television shows that include panel discussions with the cast and creative staff

FILM GROUP SCREENINGS

Members are eligible to join the Film Group, which screens major motion pictures several times per month at state-of-the-art Goldenson Theatre, for modest additional fee.

PRIMETIME EMMYS

Each member submitting an entry will receive an entry fee discount (maximum of two entries are covered by the member discount). The member's first entry is discounted at 100% and their second entry is discounted at 50%. Additional entries will require the full entry fee.

DAYTIME EMMYS

The Daytime competition is administered by the National Television Academy. Entry fees are not waived for this competition. However, members may also qualify to vote for the Daytime Emmy Awards.

LOS ANGELES AREA EMMYS

Active members are entitled to receive one free entry, per year, which may be used for an individual entry, or an individual's part of a team entry. Additional entries will require the appropriate fee at the member rate.
