Cara Buono has landed a series regular role in Netflix’s supernatural period drama Stranger Things (fka Montauk). Described as a love letter to the ’80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1980 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. Buono, repped by repped by CESD and Schrek Rose Dapello & Adams, will play Karen, the mom of Mike and Nancy, two of the kids on the search for the missing boy. Buono most recently recurred on CBS’ Person Of Interest and received an Emmy nom for Mad Men in 2011.

Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) has booked a recurring role on Netflix comedy series Lady Dynamite. Starring actress-comedian Maria Bamford, Lady Dynamite is based on what Bamford has accepted to be “her life,” when she loses – and then finds – her sh*t. Cain will play Graham, an affable, friendly, somewhat clueless stuntman with bad credit who shows interest in buying Maria’s house. Best known for his role as Superman on ABC’s Lois & Clark, Cain co-stars on VH1’s Hit The Floor. His feature credits include The Broken Hearts Club, Out Of Time and Bailey’s Billions. He is repped by APA and attorneys Robert Lange and Uri Fleming.
