The MagSafe Charging Case and Lightning Charging Case share many features. Both cases give your AirPods up to 30 hours of listening time, and both are rated IPX4 water resistant — so they’ll stand up to rain and sweat.
The difference is how you charge each one. Either case can be charged using the Lightning connector. Only the MagSafe Charging Case is also compatible with the MagSafe Charger and other wireless chargers, making charging a snap.*
