Cass Review: 'Toxic' gender debate lets children down

Children in gender care are being left at "the back of a very long waiting list," according to the author of a long-awaited report into the issue.

Dr Hilary Cass told the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 the "toxicity" of the debate around gender has led to children questioning their gender identity being "bypassed by local services".
