Isle of Man sheltered housing garden transformed by resident

The garden of a sheltered housing complex has been transformed by a resident to give his neighbours an outdoor space to enjoy.

Joe Debnam, 74, started landscaping the outdoor areas at Ballanard Court in Douglas three years ago.

The endeavour was supported by several local firms and charities along with Douglas City Council.

Mr Debnam said while the site had initially been a "mess", he now hoped to see the new garden bloom next year.
