Millions of flowers and thousands of volunteers to make this New Year's Day parade

Thousands of volunteers are preparing floats for the annual New Year's Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.

The floats in the parade are decorated entirely with material from fresh or dried plants and flowers. This year will mark the 135th year of the event.
