Planet Earth III: Sir David Attenborough temporarily replaced by school children

Sir David Attenborough has temporarily stepped aside as the narrator of the BBC's Planet Earth series, to be replaced by school children.

Fifty young narrators were chosen from schools selected by BBC Children in Need, in recognition for their fundraising efforts for the charity in recent years.

The children, aged between nine and 13, read from Sir David Attenborough's original scripts and Ricky went to meet some of them.

The special episode of Planet Earth II can be viewed on the BBC iPlayer, here.
