Trent Rockets captain Elyse Villani, speaking to Sky Sports: "We've got some really experienced bowlers in our line-up and that makes things easier as a captain.
"I really enjoyed being captain, I had a few days notice, but when you've got some really experienced girls bowling it's really great.
[On hat-trick hero Alana King] "She loves it, she's a character, that's what we want in the team. She has a plan and executes it perfectly. She was outstanding and she loved it.
"I said to her, you didn't get one for Australia in the Commonwealth Games, but you've got one here for the Rockets so all is well with the world."
'I hope Shane Warne is looking down'
Hat-trick hero Alana King, speaking to Sky Sports: "We have got our first win on the board and that's what I am pumped about.
"I am here to do a job for the team and I am glad to do it. It was a fresh wicket and I could manage to contribute."
"It's pretty special, but as I say I'm here to do my job for the team and I'm glad it came off today. I'm stoked to get the win.
"I hope Shane Warne is looking down and is pretty proud I spun it a bit today. I am very happy to have done well here."
