About the show:

In June 2020, China imposed a National Security Law on HK to quell political unrest. In the subsequent 12 months, some 90,000 residents left the city to settle abroad. Britain is the most popular destination. Âľ of the HK population qualifies for its BN(O) visa. Emigration, once a privilege of the well-to-do, has now become possible on a massive scale.

This documentary follows the journey of a few unlikely HK migrants, some fleeing the political crackdown, others simply wanting to give their families a better life. It intimately captures the hope and loss the migrants experience along their journey.
