The UK’s biggest and oldest home and garden exhibition is back in Scotland for the 75th time with four show areas packed with hundreds of brands.

Ideal Home Show Scotland will bring cooking demonstrations, free live talks, and exhibitors to Glasgow’s SEC on 24th to 27th May.

Renowned Michelin star chef, presenter, and cookbook author Phil Vickery

British potter and ceramic designer Keith Brymer Jones of BBC2’s The Great Pottery Throw Down, Australian interior designer, Banjo Beale known for BBC TV series Designing the Hebrides and host of Scotland’s Home of the Year, TV chef Phil Vickery of ITV’s This Morning, and award-winning designer Tom Angel.

Tom will be demonstrating planting design tips and highlighting varieties of plants that will thrive in the Scottish climate.

Many more big names will be joining the show this year so keep an eye out for who’ll join the guestlist.

The big names will take to the main stage to share insider tips on a range of topics including the latest gadgets, the power of seasonal decor, identifying plants that’ll thrive all year and round, and navigating your financial future.

Dream home inspiration

The show takes place from Friday May 24 to Monday May 27

For those looking for the ultimate in inspiration, this year’s show home, The Dream Home, will be the most innovative and inspiring house to ever feature at the Ideal Home Show Scotland.

For the first time in the show’s 75-year history, all products in The Dream Home will be available for purchase at the show. It will feature fully furnished rooms created in association with Good Homes stylists, well-known suppliers, and renowned brands, showcasing the latest in interior design trends, must-have accessories and furniture.

The Dream Home isn’t the only place you’ll glean some inspo.

Some of the UK’s best brands will descend on the SEC to showcase items to elevate your home and garden including Sofology, Living Room Sponsor for the Dream Home, DX Home Improvements, The Glasgow Stove Centre, RA Fire and Security, Sofas and Friends, Flawless Balustrades and Urbanpods.

Official charity partner, Erskine Veteran Charity will be marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a landing craft replica with actors dressed in military uniform of the era. The charity will also have D-Day 80th anniversary-themed merchandise, bucket collections, and giveaways throughout the show.

For the foodies amongst us, the show has its own dedicated Eat & Drink Festival section where you can devour the best modern cuisine, mixology, delicious global dishes, and independent produce.
