Borna Barisic accepts ‘big-money offer’ as he closes in on Rangers move – sources
Rangers star Borna Barisic has agreed terms with Turkish side Trabzonspor and is in line to complete the move as soon as the season ends, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that Trabzonspor have made Barisic, whose Gers contract expires at the end of the season, a “big-money offer”, which he has since accepted.
The Croat, 31, has been free to talk to overseas clubs since he entered the final six months of his Rangers deal.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the Gers have had no plans to offer him an extension and are happy to let him make an exit from the club.

Sources told Football Insider last month (15 February) that the 31-year-old is ready to quit the club this summer and is aware he can get a bigger deal elsewhere.
Barisic entered his sixth year at Rangers at the start of the season and has scored 10 goals and provided 54 assists across 230 appearances during his time at Ibrox.
His game time has been significantly reduced since the arrival of Philippe Clement, but he has still managed one goal and six assists this season.
Barisic is one of multiple Ibrox stars whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the campaign, with John Lundstram, Kemar Roofe, Ryan Jack, Leon Balogun and Jon McLaughlin also set to become free agents.
The likes of Roofe are expected to depart, with Football Insider revealing (19 February) that he “will leave the club”.
The Gers are keen to tie Lundstram down to new terms, but sources have told Football Insider (11 March) that talks regarding a contract extension have stalled.
Rangers sit second in the league after their away clash with Dundee was postponed on Sunday (17 March) due to a waterlogged pitch.
They are next in action at home against Hibernian on 30 March after the international break.
