West Ham expect to complete £12.3m Said Benrahma deal after terms agreed – sources
West Ham expect Said Benrahma to seal a permanent move to Ligue 1 side Lyon this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 28-year-old moved to the French side on loan in the January transfer window.
Benrahma is settled after returning to France and has spoken of how much he is enjoying his time with Lyon.
His loan deal with the French giants includes an option for a permanent deal, and sources say David Moyes’ side are now expecting it to be triggered.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Lyon are “very keen” to have the attacker full-time.

Benrahma has made six appearances since making the move, starting five games and scoring once.
West Ham made a last-gasp mistake with the paperwork last month but an intervention from Fifa ensured the move was completed.
Lyon paid £5.1 million to sign the Algeria international on loan and will have to pay a further £12.3 million to make the move permanent.
The Irons will also be due 10% of any future sale if the deal goes through.
Benrahma, who is currently under contract at the London Stadium until June 2026, notched 24 goals and 19 assists in 155 games during his time with the Irons.
He helped David Moyes’ side lift the Europa Conference League trophy in the 2022-23 campaign.
