Have you ever heard anything about Abkhazia?

On my way to Simon Kanonit's cave
Abkhazia, a state not recognized internationally as a separate nation, fights for its independence for ages.

History of this country, starting in the 9 th -6th centuries BC, remembers rise and fall of the Greek, the Roman and the Byzantine empires.

Abkhazia used to be USSR's political elite resort but tired of wars land now.

At the same time Abkhazia is the place I've once been too and will never forget!

Things like half-ruined houses where people leave nonotheless, rusty traces of the machine-gun bursts on iron fences, no transport,

no people around, ancient architecture, complete darkness at night, palms under weight of snowflakes and... silent Black sea!

What impressed me most is a constant feeling of being stuck somewhere in the middle of war and peace, past and future, ferity and civilization...

Really amazing place where a car costs much more than a house.

I will never forget mandarins gathering and visiting a lonely cave of Simon Kanonit, one of 12 apostles of the Christ.

If you are a real traveler and want to see all that with your own eyes, come to Abkhazia.

You'll be surprised before entering the custom, I'm sure!
