Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)

This week OPCW welcomed Fellows from the UN Disarmament Fellowship Programme. The programme helps officials from United Nations Member States build their expertise in #disarmament and non-proliferation issues. Fellows were briefed on the work of the OPCW, including industry inspections, verification activities, and future priorities.

#OnThisDay in 1925 the Geneva Protocol was signed, banning the use of chemical and biological weapons in war.
