Wells Fargo Reflect® Card Overview

The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is an interest savings powerhouse, giving you nearly two years to pay down purchases or a balance transfer interest-free. As a new cardholder, you’ll get 0% intro APR for 21 months from account opening (after that, the variable APR will be 17.99%–29.99%). That said, the card charges 5% for each balance transfer (minimum $5), which is on the high end.

The Reflect Card doesn’t offer a welcome bonus or ongoing rewards, but you can earn cash back in the form of statement credits with select merchants through the My Wells Fargo Deals program. The card also offers cellphone protection and free access to your FICO credit score.

Who is Wells Fargo Reflect® Card good for?

The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is an excellent choice for people who are planning to make one or more large purchases or consolidate high-interest credit card debt and need some time to pay down the balance. It can also be beneficial for smaller financing needs if your budget is tight and you’re unsure whether you can pay off your balance in a shorter time frame.

While there are plenty of 0% APR credit cards that offer rewards, the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card can still be worth it if your priority is to maximize your interest savings.

Who shouldn’t get Wells Fargo Reflect® Card?

The Reflect Card may not be the right fit if you want a card that offers more value after the promotional period expires. If you can afford to pay off your expected balance more quickly, it may be worth comparing the card to other 0% APR options that come with welcome bonuses, rewards and other valuable perks.

Wells Fargo Reflect® Card: How to earn rewards

The card doesn’t offer a traditional rewards program, but you can earn cash back with personalized offers via the My Wells Fargo Deals program.

You can find offers in your online account or on the Wells Fargo mobile app. Activate the deal you want and use your card to make a qualifying purchase with the merchant.

How to redeem Wells Fargo Reflect® Card rewards

Cash back earned through My Wells Fargo Deals will be automatically redeemed as a statement credit on your account within 30 days of your qualifying purchase.

Credit cards similar to Wells Fargo Reflect® Card

While the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card‘s 0% APR promotion is tough to beat, it’s worth it to compare it to other top 0% APR credit cards and balance transfer credit cards to ensure you get the best one for you. Here are a couple to consider.

Citi Double Cash® Card vs. Wells Fargo Reflect® Card

If your current priority is to pay off a high-interest balance from another card but you also want enduring benefits, consider the Citi Double Cash® Card. The card offers an introductory 0% APR on balance transfers for 18 months, after which the variable APR ranges from 19.24% to 29.24%. The card’s balance transfer fee is 3% for the first four months, then 5% after that, with a $5 minimum.

The card also offers $200 cash back when you spend $1,500 in the first six months, plus 2% cash back on every purchase you make—that’s 1% when you pay and another 1% as you pay. The card has no annual fee.

Chase Freedom Flex℠ vs. Wells Fargo Reflect® Card

If you don’t need a long 0% APR promotion, the Chase Freedom Flex℠ Credit Card can be an excellent alternative. The card offers 0% intro purchase APR for 15 months from account opening (after that, the variable APR will be 20.49%–29.24%). The card’s balance transfer fee is $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater, on transfers made within 60 days of account opening. After that: Either $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater..

As a new cardholder, you’ll also earn a $200 cash bonus after spending $500 on purchases within your first three months, plus 5% back on up to $12,000 in combined gas station and grocery store purchases (excluding Target and Walmart) during your first year. Additionally, you’ll earn 5% cash back on activated bonus category purchases each quarter (up to $1,500 in purchases, then 1%), 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 3% cash back on drugstore purchases, 3% cash back on dining (including restaurants, takeout and eligible delivery services), and 1% cash back on all other purchases. The card has no annual fee.

Is the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card right for you?

Consider the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card if you have significant upcoming expenses, such as wedding or funeral costs, medical bills or home renovations, and you want some time to pay off your balance. It’s also a great choice to pay down debt from another credit card debt over time. In either case, the card’s biggest value proposition is your potential interest savings.

However, if you don’t need that long of a 0% APR promotion, and you’d like a card that also offers other benefits, including rewards, take your time to shop around and compare several options to ensure you find the best fit for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wells Fargo Reflect Card hard to get?

Wells Fargo doesn’t disclose a minimum credit score requirement, but you generally need good credit to get approved. According to FICO, a good credit score starts at 670, but because Wells Fargo looks at multiple factors, meeting that minimum won’t guarantee approval.

What’s the credit limit on Wells Fargo Reflect Card?

If you get approved for the card, your credit limit will be determined based on several factors, such as your credit score, credit history, income and other debt. With that in mind, the minimum credit limit for the card is $1,000.

What is the difference between Wells Fargo Reflect Card and Active Cash Card?

The Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card is another option to consider if you want a 0% APR promotion and rewards. The card offers 2% cash back on every purchase, a welcome bonus and a 0% APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers. After that, the variable APR is 20.24%, 25.24%, or 29.99%. The card’s balance transfer fee is 3% for the first 120 days, then 5% after that, with a $5 minimum.
