That’s a wrap on Telluride Film Festival 2024! I’m thrilled to share that Her Name Was Moviola, my debut feature documentary, just had its North American premiere at the prestigious Telluride Film Festival! This has been an incredible milestone, especially sharing the experience with our star and writer, the legendary Walter Murch, who joined me in an engaging Q&A after the second screening. Due to the overwhelming response, we were given an additional third screening, which was a true honour. Having industry icon Thelma Schoonmaker — editor to Martin Scorsese —attend our first screening was another highlight of the experience. Walter later presented Thelma with her Silver Medallion as one of the three honourees of the festival. For those unfamiliar, Telluride is renowned as a festival where filmmakers, industry insiders, and passionate cinephiles converge to celebrate cinema in its purest form. Many films that premiere here go on to shape the awards season and cinematic discourse for the year. It was an incredible platform to introduce our film to a North American audience, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported Her Name Was Moviola so far. More exciting updates to come!
