Demand action ➡ bit.ly/StopArming_Israel The UK government is still exporting parts for F-35 jets that are bombing Palestinians in #Gaza. That’s why we’re at Labour Party Conference #Lab24 in Liverpool with one urgent demand: SUSPEND ALL ARMS TO ISRAEL.

A global movement of people who won't live with poverty.
About us
Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty - together. Oxfam fights poverty in three ways: Campaigning, Development and Emergency Response. Campaigning for change: Poverty isn’t just about lack of resources. In a wealthy world it’s about bad decisions made by powerful people. Oxfam campaigns hard, putting pressure on leaders for real lasting change. Development work: Poor people can take control, solve their own problems, and rely on themselves – with the right support. Fighting poverty, we fund long-term work worldwide. Emergency response: People need help in an emergency – fast. We save lives, swiftly delivering aid, support and protection; and we help people prepare for future crises. Oxfam also has around 670 shops in the UK and an online shop selling over 100,000 volunteer-listed second-hand clothes, books, music and collectables, plus Fairtrade and ethical gifts: http://www.oxfam.org.uk/shop Interested in working for Oxfam? 🔴 Oxfam is responding to the escalating crisis in Lebanon, providing essential support to the hundreds of thousands of people who have been forced to flee as Israeli airstrikes bombard their homes and communities. The influx of internally displaced people, primarily from southern Lebanon, will quickly create disastrous conditions for local communities, beyond the ability of an overloaded international humanitarian system to properly meet. Oxfam and our partners are supporting internally displaced people in shelters in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and North Lebanon with clean water and sanitation, emergency cash, food, and hygiene and menstrual hygiene kits.

Iconic Fashion Designer and activist Katharine Hamnett brought her iconic No More Fashion Victims slogan to the catwalk for the Oxfam x Vinted #StyleForChange fashion show. Katharine says “There are small things we can all to have a more planet-friendly wardrobe and shopping second-hand and vintage is one of them… I hope this helps to send a clear message that charity shop clothes are not only sustainable, but they can be cool and stylish as well.” No More Fashion Victims has been printed onto a limited edition run of pre-loved tees available from Oxfam. Pop into your local Oxfam shop to see if they have any tshirts in stock. Or download the artwork and print your own here: https://bit.ly/4dgX8Z3
