‘Ow much? Oasis fans react to homecoming gig prices
Oasis fans are split over ticket prices for the band’s homecoming concerts in Manchester next summer.
The cheapest ticket for the Heaton Park gigs next July will be £148.50 – for standing only.
On the streets of Manchester, fans’ reactions ranged from the scandalised - "ridiculous" and "maybe they forgot who their fans were" – to the pragmatic, with one saying, “it’s a special occasion”.
Another fan admitted he would still try "100%" to get a ticket, despite saying the prices were "ludicrous" and "a bit too much".
Tickets at other venues, including Cardiff and Dublin, start at £73 for seats.
