Pregnant Lea Michele, 37, drapes baby bump in boho chic dress as she greets BFF Jonathan Groff with a hug in NYC after attending Met Gala together

Spring is awakening in New York City, which means 'tis the season for Lea Michele and her longtime bestie.

The Golden Globe nominee, 37, showed off her baby bump in a boho chic look on Wednesday as she met up with Jonathan Groff for an afternoon outing.

Michele — who stunned at the Met Gala earlier this month — donned an ankle-length navy blue dress with a white speckled print, paired with black ballet flats.

She completed the ensemble with a pair of round gold-framed sunglasses, carrying a black leather purse across her chest.

The Funny Girl on Broadway star was all smiles as she greeted Groff, 39, with a hug and he felt her pregnant belly.

She previously supported the Merrily We Roll Along star on Tuesday for his caricature unveiling at Broadway institution Sardi's.

Michele also brought Groff as her date to the Met Gala earlier this month, where she stunned in a Rodarte aqua silk gown with a long tulle cape and blossom details.

'Best friends at The Met,' she captioned a photo of herself with the Looking star, who looked dapper in a black Simone Rocha suit adorned with crimson flowers.

The pair has been friends since their breakout co-leading performances in the 2006 Broadway musical Spring Awakening, which won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The rock musical adaptation of the 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind also earned Groff a nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.

In 2022, they reunited with their co-stars in the HBO 15th anniversary documentary Spring Awakening: Those You've Known. 

Groff also began guest-starring on Glee in 2000 as Jesse St. James, the archrival and love interest of Michele's Rachel Berry.

Michele revealed the Frozen star as her 'maid of honor' ahead of her 2019 wedding to Zandy Reich.

She and the fashion exec, 41, share 3-year-old son Ever Leo, and they announced their second pregnancy in March, sharing some maternity photos on Instagram.

'Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed,' wrote Michele in the caption.

Michele previously dated her Glee co-star Cory Monteith from 2008 until his death at age 31 in 2013. 

Groff has been romantically linked to actors Gavin Creel, Zachary Quinto and choreographer Corey Baker.
