Financial sustainability is such a huge deal for Non-profits. So I (and Humentum) think it's a big issue that INPAG doesn't yet support NPOs to measure it from their annual audited accounts. When NPOs build an appropriate level of 'general reserves', it acts as a buffer against shocks or gaps between grants. 😎 International Non-Profit Accounting Guidance from IFR4NPO (I'm a huge fan in case you didn't know) will enable NPOs to measure some aspects of sustainability from their annual audited accounts. 😮 But not general reserves. Aaargh. 😉 Don't despair! The consultation window is still open!
