    It's the thing every privacy software vendor claims to have, and somehow it's never quite that simple: integrations 🙃 How many times have you heard the claim? "We have 1000, 2000, no–3000 integrations to your data systems! It's easy!" Spoiler– it's not that easy. Two questions you need to ask privacy vendors when you evaluate the quality of their system integration claims: ➡️ Describe the process to get an integration working with a SaaS tool or database. Will your software connect to the endpoint automatically? Or does it require professional services or engineering hours? (Tip: always look at the product documentation before your buy.) ➡️ Do your system integrations automate the execution of a DSR in the system directly? Or do they just trigger a notification to someone? (If they do the latter... it's just a "surface-level" integration that can't get the work done in your systems.)
