Redditor Idetrotuarem shared the beauty tips in a viral post.

"Natural haircare is our expertise. Like women from India, we swear by hair oiling, but we use various different oils depending on hair porosity," they explained.

They added that the choice of oil is critical to hair penetration and varies from person to person.

"For example, coconut oil is usually great for low porosity hair but can wreak havoc on medium or high porosity, so choosing the right oil for your hair type is crucial," they said.

"And [generally], we tailor our haircare to our hair's porosity."

The Polish beauty fan shared other natural remedies and treatments that made a huge difference to their strands.

"We do natural hair rinses (with rosemary, vinegar, or even beer), scalp peelings, natural hair masks, and we often mix our own concoctions," they said.

"Women also use henna, cassia, and indigo as natural hair dyes, as they do not damage the hair and actually strengthen it, make it thicker, smoother, and act as a protective barrier against sun damage."

On top of their health benefits, the hair dyes also instantly improve one's aesthetic.

"Cassia gives an almost colorless effect with a golden tint, henna is red, indigo black, you can also mix them to create various different shades (for example, ginger with cassia and henna, or brown with henna and indigo)," they said.

Though hair dye can be difficult to work with initially, the Redditor highly recommended it.

"Overall, I love henna as a hair dye, although it is messy and a bit of a learning curve," they said.

"There's also a ton of inaccurate info and misconceptions about it floating around on the internet, especially in the US, so research carefully."

The key to their homemade remedies, they added, is the quality of the ingredients.

"Some of the natural beauty tips don't really work if you get the products elsewhere because they do not have the same properties," they said.

"[Yogurt] or butter used to make amazing face masks decades ago, when they were produced in individual households and with no preservatives," they explained.

"Now, what you can buy in a supermarket will not have a similar effect at all because it's so far removed from the original thing properties-wise.

"Same with honey - it's an amazing face and hair mask in Poland, but what passes as 'honey' in the US never gave me the same results."

In conjunction with Polish haircare techniques, the Redditor explained that they utilized beauty tricks from other countries.

"I know Japan loves face massages, and you can find a face massage for almost everything," they said.

"Many people swear by the results. It also seems that lymph and fascia face massages and exercises are either a beauty tradition or gaining popularity in some parts of Eastern Europe.

"Korean spa is amazing and will make your baby smooth. Same with Turkish saunas."
