Clare Pastore is a professor in the practice of law at the University of Southern California. She is an expert on poverty, civil rights, access to justice, and lawyers' professional responsibility. She teaches numerous classes related to her long practice experience in anti-poverty and civil rights organizations, while continuing to practice as a leading member of the California public interest community. She is co-author of the leading Poverty Law textbook and is a regular speaker on poverty, access to justice, and public interest law.
