Ivan Gan is an assistant professor of communication studies at the University of Houston-Downtown. He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. Prior to receiving an M.A. in organizational communication, I earned a J.D. from the University of New South Wales and a graduate diploma in legal practice from the Australian National University. His research areas: conflict management in nursing teams; nurses’ careers and work arrangements; nurse management and leadership communication; and basic research on negotiations.
