This Spotlight highlights the history of the Tangier American Legation is a symbol of cultural exchange between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States.
By 1995, the Bosnian War had already claimed 200,000 lives and displaced 2 million others. On November 1, 1995, American diplomats brought the presidents of Croatia, Bosnia, and Serbia to the negotiating table in Dayton, Ohio to end the war. The agreement that came out of these discussions would be known as the Dayton Accords.

Current In-Person Exhibits
The museum currently has three exhibits on display in our pavilion at the 21st Street entrance of the Harry S Truman Building. These exhibits are Diplomacy is Our Mission, Spotlight on Diplomacy: Camp David Accords, and The “Signature Segment” of the Berlin Wall.
