What Our Fellows Have To Say

“It’s been great, I can’t say anything other than unexpected: unexpectedly inspirational, motivating, stimulating, comforting … I’ve really really enjoyed all 5 weeks; it’s just been phenomenal. I’ve regained a sense of motivation and direction, and that’s just priceless in terms of my career and my confidence.”

— Alicia C.-L., 2022 Fellow

“After this workshop I feel like I’m more prepared knowledge-wise and have a better idea of how things work. And I also have the tools and skills necessary to succeed and the community to do it with.”

— Lina K., 2022 Fellow

“The constant affirmation of finding your many ways to be true to yourself through your work was just a great reminder to have through these last five weeks.”

— Ananya S., 2022 Fellow

“I come from a working class background, and I thought I didn’t know anything about publishing but learning all the many jobs I’ve had translated to this was quite a surprise. I wanted to go into publishing before I joined this workshop, but having the drive that this workshop provided to actually be compelled to do so as like a career choice is something that’s been invaluable to me.”

— Desi A., 2022 Fellow

“I would recommend it [this workshop] to everyone, but in my case, to my fellow scholars…Publishing is so important for us in academia that I think that learning more about how the publishing world works can be helpful for everyone.”

 — Eraldo S., 2022 Fellow

“This workshop is a great example of a workshop that gives you the plain and simple truth; it doesn’t sugarcoat anything, but at the same time it was just really professionally done. I would recommend it to anyone with even an inkling of interest in publishing.”

— Daniel G., 2022 Fellow
