The 24-year-old has made zero Premier League starts all season.

After being handed a rare start in an FA Cup match in January, that the Gunners lost to Liverpool, he talked about wanting to see more minutes.

“It’s good to be coming off the bench, but I want to be starting," he said. "I feel like I am proving myself every day in training, so with this momentum I want to go on and keep playing more."

Nelson could now be sold in the summer and Brighton are ready to swoop in.

Arsenal are believed to want in excess of £25million.

Joining him at the Amex Stadium in the summer could be Leicester star Dewsbury-Hall.

The Seagulls offered around £20m for him in January, and that fell way short of Leicester's valuation.

The Foxes are understood to have wanted at least £40m.
