Introducing our latest collab, including our VERY first Limited Edition bottle(!!!) ⚡️ El Rayo Tequila x Alejandra García y Gutiérrez ⚡️ After Tequila, championing creativity is what really gets us going. It’s also what gets us to collaborate with artists we love, and create something really special. So after months of work BTS we’re buzzing to release this into the world and share with you all our latest project, with the incredible Mexican artist, Ale (@aleggtz on IG!) For this collaboration, Ale created a single design that encapsulates the core elements of El Rayo Tequila, the essence that defines our brand since its inception four years ago: from our signature Tequila & Tonic to the iconic blue agave, from the captivating story of the lightning bolt to the unforgettable T&T moment. We were buzzing to see an El Rayo cocktail make it to the finals of the best Tequila cocktail competition 2023 hosted by our fabulous friends at Hacha. ‘Getting Figgy With it’ used a mix of a fig infused El Rayo Plata with a homemade fig cordial. 10/10 in our books. Amazing work by cocktail legend Aiden Page from Birch. Huge congrats to the winners, and can’t wait for next year!

Apparently it’s #GinAndTonicDay. So naturally, we’ll be partaking in a nice, tall, refreshing glass of.. Tequila & Tonic. To the shock and surprise of absolutely no one. Here’s why we think it’s time to bin gin. 🚮 Gin needs a whole load of added flavours and botanicals to give it any flavour 🚮 Anyone can make their own gin 🚮 Have you ever tried it neat? Enough said 🚮 Two words: choice overload (see also: pink gin) El Rayo, on the other hand... ⚡The amazing depth of flavour all comes from the blue agave plant, after its 8 years spent growing in the Mexican sun  ⚡ Made in Mexico and only Mexico ⚡ Extremely sippable neat (yes, we said sip. The startup scene's buzzing, and it's not just from our T&Ts! ⚡️ At El Rayo, we believe in fostering innovation from day dot. That’s why we’re proudly pouring our support behind Women in Startups, a Jumpstart brainchild. These trailblazers are shaking up the startup scene, crafting a space for women to start, soar, and succeed. We served up our signature T&Ts at last week's launch event, whilst 4 incredible women in startups shared their experiences on “Making your voice heard” at @Stride VC HQ. Creative juices were flowing at EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) last night – and we’re not just talking about copious Tequila & Tonics. Art, design and inspirational talks were on the agenda once again at this month’s Nicer Tuesdays event with It's Nice That! It was great to see over 500 creative minds joining us for a complimentary T&T to pair with three brilliant talks from all over the design sphere. Missed out? Dw! You can find us and It's Nice That at EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) on the first Tuesday of every month for more of all that good stuff.

The storms have been waging in London this summer! And we’re not talking about the weather, we’ve all done enough of that over the past couple of months.. Nope, we’re talking about the figurative storm (⚡️) we’ve sent out across London’s On Trade over the past few weeks. With striking new assets, Pop Up bars, discounts, BOGOFs, and last but not least, our ever electric Lightning Squad - who’ve been sampling thousands of T&Ts in some of our favourite spots across the capital! We’ve been at Birch, The George Public House, Forza Wine, Hicce, The Botanist, The Prince, Frank's Cafe, and five Fuller's Brewery sites: The Old Queens Head, The Distillers, The Blue Boat, The Half Moon and The Old Bank, converting new T&T drinkers and doing what we do best: turning Tequila into the first drink of the night, not the last. Shout out to the summer sun for returning for our final few weeks.
