Join us today in Basingstoke! Both @StephanieWest & @jennaTA will be in Basingstoke tomorrow raising awareness for our Tourettes community at Basingstoke District Disability Forum (BDDF) Awareness Day. Our aim is to provide support and raise as much awareness as possible within our community of Tourette's Syndrome. We also continue to try and remove some of the stigma and preconceptions that still exist around the condition. We are hoping to get a stint on @BasingstokeCommunityRadio to get the word out there and share ways the charity can support families of children diagnosed with Tourette's in both our community and beyond 💚 If you are able to come down and see us on the day to learn more and support us it would be lovely to see you. There will be a host of other disability charities representing on the day to provide support to those in the local community. The TA team has definitely been touring the UK lately, and yesterday, Anne-Marie was at the Snap Parent Carer Forum in Central #Bedfordshire. This was a local community event where we were raising awareness of TS as the forum launched a new booklet to support parents, teachers and professionals and neurodiverse families in their area. #Tourettes #TouretteSyndrome #Neurodiversity
